Tiger Woods has been on such a tear this season that his loss today in the rain-delayed final round from Doral in Miami is a real shocker. The world’s No. 1 player birdied three of the seven holes he played and closed with a 68 to finish 5th in his quest to win a 6th consecutive PGA Tour event and his 8th consecutive tournament worldwide. His winning streaks at Doral (three) and in WGC events (three) also came to an end. And it was the first time in eight months Tiger didn’t finish in the top two.
